Fell and Injured Right Hand Got Into Game at Crucial Moment. Used Left Hand and Won. George A. Dunstadtter of Long Island City is to be given a medal by his fel low bowlers of the Monitor team for being the nerviest bowler that they know anything about. This title he won in a game rolled Sunday at Fred Reicher- ter's Hotel, near Fresh Pond station of the Long Island Railroad, in Long Island City.

The contest was between the Monitors and the Rainmakers. The Monitor team was composed of Samuel Mitchell. Thomas Sherman. Dunstadtter. Richard Bowl ing and Jacob Mellick.

The Rainmakers were: Joseph Hayes, Patrick Solon Robert Flaherty, James Molloy and George Lennlng. The game was for seven frames. In the fourth frame Dunstadtter was about to roll, when a train went by. This disconcerted him and he fell to the floor of the alley, badly Injuring his right hand. retired from the game and put in a substitute.

The substitute did not come un to the scratch and the Monitors were losing. This was too much for Dunstadtter, and taking his place again he used his left hand and made four straight, winning the game for his side. FROM CALCUTTA, VIA BOSTON.
