These are the special regatta of the club on Friday and on the following day the annual fall regatta of the organization. All of the boats of the various classes which participate in the sound racing during the season will take part in the Oyster Bay event.

On Saturday, September 6, the last of the races for the club's fifteen-footers will ta-ke place. Cupid has been very busy at Oyster Bay this season, and he has Just added another engagement to lUa credit, which ts great interest to tbe members of the summer colony. The Rev. and Mrs. Charles M.

Fax Kockaway, August 22 Tennis without nets or regulation racquets is being enjoyed by many visitors to the ocean beach at Far Rockaway. Rackets are sometimes whittled out of a bit of driftwood, but often pieces of thin wood are used without being altered. The usual tennis ball is used, and all of the rules which govern tennis are in full force.

In order toj keep up with other racing associations and to provide the best possible sport; the association has arranged for ther laying down of a chute out of which; the first-year colts and fillies will race, A btiaightaway course has been needed and seeing this tiie association mad plans for its building.
