Cummings. A very pretty wedding took place at the home of the bride, 587 Seventh street, Brooklyn, on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, when Helen Elizabeth Weber was united in marriage to Joseph H. Cummings by the Caton, pastor of the Twelfth Street Reformed Church. The bridal party Marion E. John, Nathlie Harder, Helconsisted of four ribbon girls, Misses and Grace Weber.

The flowen Garry girl, a niece of the bride, Marion er Garry, led the march, followed by Weber. a sister of the bride, Miss Anna The bridge was given away by her brother, Frank Weber. The best man was Alfred S. Morrison. The bride white crepe de chine and princess lace, with long veil and wreath of orange blossoms.

She carried a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley and orchids. The maid of honor was gowned in pink crepe de chine and carried a bouquet of pink roses. The bride received, many handsome presents, them being a bar pin of diamonds, a gift of the bridegroom. The house was beautifully decorated with palms and roses. The ceremony was followed by a wedding dinner, after which the bridal couple left for an extended trip to the South.

Upon their return they will reside in Brooklyn. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. B. F.

Miss Elsie Vuilleumier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Vuilleumier, was married to David Edgar Smyth at the home of her parents, 436 Stanhope street, an Saturday morning, April 3. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr.

Karl Vuilleumier of Philadelphia, an uncle of the bride. The bride wore a gown of white satin and lace and a tulle veil. She carried shower bouquet of white roses and Orchids. Miss Edith Vuilleumier, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. She was gowned in yellow brocade satin and carried a bouquet of tea roses.

Miss Mildred Vuilleumier was the little flower girl and she carried a basket of flowers. Stanley Schwarz acted as best man. The ceremony was followed by a wedding breakfast and reception after which Mr. and Mrs. Mr.

Miss Martha Marie Johnson An Easter Bride. A pretty Easter wedding took place on Wednesday, when Miss Martha Marie Johnson, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Albert S. Johnson, of 1203 Dean street, was married to Melville Hunt, son of Mrs.

Daisy Lord Hunt, 637 Walton avenue, Bronx. The ceremony was performed at the home the bride at noon by Rev. Harry L. Everett, pastor of the Central Congregational Church of Jersey City. Only the immediate families of the young couple were present.

The bride wore a sand-colored gown of silk poplin, silver lace and chiffon. Her bouquiet was Johnson, lilies a of sister the of valley. the bride, Miss was the maid of honor, and the best man was Edward Haussler. A wedding breakfast followed the ceremony. The color scheme of the decorations was green and white.

After the breakfast Mr. Mrs. Hunt left for an extended wedding trip. On their return they will make their home in Manhattan. Among those present were Dr.

L. Rauth, were married by the Rev. John C. Fisher of the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, at the home of the bride's parents recently. Miss Theis wore a gown of crepe de meteor and a corsage bouquet of white sweet peas and orchids.

Miss Elsie B. Theis, a sister of the bride, was her only attendant. She was gowned in green taffeta and wore a corsage of sunrise roses. Clarence Valentine Rauth, a brother of the bridegroom, was best man. After the ceremony the bridal party enjoyed a wedding breakfast, which was served at the Imperial.

Mr. and Mrs. Edgar J. Rauth will spend their honeymoon at Old Point Comfort and Washington. They will make their home at 103 Linwood street upon their return to Brooklyn.

One of the popular weddings on the Park Slope this season was that of Miss May Pearson, daughter of Mrs. Mary F. Pearson, who became the bride of Richard Pierre Stokes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stokes, on Tuesday evening, April 6, at the Church of the Holy Name, Prospect Park West and Prospect avenue.

Miss Margaret F. Pearson, sister of the bride, was her only attendant, and John J. Pearson acted as best man. After a short stay at Atlantic City the couple will reside in Philadelphia. A vory, pretty wedding took place at the of Dr.

W. Whittaker of the Bushwick Avenue Baptist Church. The bride was Miss Jessie Perkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Perkins, of Conklin avenue and East Ninety -fourth street, Canarsie.

Charles A. Wolters of Philadelphia, has just been announced. Miss Merklein, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Merklein of 428 Ovington avenue, is a graduate of St.

Elizabeth's College, Madison. N. J. Miss Merklein also attended the Visitation Convent, Bay Ridge. She is well known in musical circles and a member of several popular Bay Ridge clubs.

Miss Edythe Regnell to Wed; Shower Given in Her Honor. A linen shower "surprise" was given in honor of Miss Edythe Regnell at her residence, in Richmond Hill, L. Thursday evening, April 1, by Miss Edythe Matson of Brooklyn. Miss Florence Edlund and Miss Wade entertained the guests with vocal selections, and Miss Sadie Van Mater gave some witty recitations. The rest of the evening was spent at games.

Reynolds. Suffragists Give Euchre To Help Campaign Fund. To complete the sum $600 for suffrage campaign work, the Fifth Assembly District of the Woman Suffrage party gave a euchre Wednesday afternoon in the home of Mrs. Alfreda McClinchie, 75 Bainbridge street. More than fifty women were present at the meeting that followed the games.

Mrs. Harriet T. Comstock, author and suffragist, talked interestingly on the votes for women question, and AS a result gained a number of converts. During the meeting mention was made of the canvassing bee Friday evening, April 16. The suffragists in the Fifth District will meet in the i home of one of the members and then canvass the homes of the voters in the district to ask their views on suffrage.

Jennie F. Noziglia, and sister of Frank and Harold Noziglia, who are now engaged in business in Dawson, Yukon Territory, on the border line of Alaska. During the wedding supper many telegrams of congratulations were received, among them being one from her brothers in the far North. At a party celebrated at the home of Mrs. Clarke, 188 Nostrand avenue, on Sunday evening, April 4, the guests were surprised by the announcement of the engagement of her daughter, To Aid People's Temple Under the direction of Mrs.

J. Gallay, a member of the Ladies' League of the People's Temple, an entertainment will be given on Wednesday afternoon and evening, April 14, at the Park Moving Picture Theater, Cropsey and Twenty-first avenues. The features of the entertainment, which is being given benefit Julia Gallay. of the building fund of the new temple, are being arranged by Mrs. J.

Gallay, who has rented the theater for both afternoon and evening performances. Special photo plays and cabaret entertainment featuring little Julia Gallay. Beatrice Natheson, Benjamin Morris and Dorothy Turkus will make up the programme for the evening. Miss Hazel Mazur, who will have charge of the entertainment, will present the little folks. Mrs.
