In the course of his opening lecture yesterday afternoon before an appreciative audience of about 300 people, under the auspices of the Peoples' Forum, at the Masonic Temple, John Spargo, a noted Socialist author and lecturer, gav some opinions on the "Value of Clasi Consciousness." In opening, he said: "Roosevelt, while President of the United States, like an habitual scold, hurled his wrathful darts at the Socialist party for preaching doctrines of class consciouHiness. He seemed to think that we were the makers of the class struggle of which we talk so much, and that we were livine on the fruits of our campaign In provoking class hatred." He went on: "The struggle of the classes has gone on tor centuries and will always go on. I admit that sometimes Proposes One of Six Flanks for All Parties. Dr. Young said, among other things: "For adoption by adherents of all parties in this political campaign I proposa the following platform ot six planks: "1.
