Levi, one of the presidents of the Jewish Hospital of Brooklyn and formerly co-proprietor of a borough department store, died Friday night in his home, 70 Prospect Party West. He was 86. Mr. was president of the hospital from 1904, three vears after it was founded, until 1905, and was a director and trustee from 1904 to 1936. At the time of his death he was an honorary director of the institution.

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Levi was graduated from a high school in that city. At an early age he and his brother. and Broadway, which they operated until 1921 when they retired from business. The store was continued under other management for another 10 years. Savings Bank Trustee While at Prairie du Chien Mr. Levi was A member and eventually master of the local lodge of Masons. In Brooklyn, he was a trustee of the Hamburg Savings Bank and was honorary chairman of the board.

He had also been president of Temple Israel of Brooklyn from 1918 to 1925, a trustee of Union Temple and a member of the executive committee of the American Hebrew Congregations from 1922 to 1926. Surviving are his widow. Mrs. Sadie F. Levi, and two daughters, Mrs.

Helen L. Gabriel of Manhattan and Mrs. Irma L. Katz. The funeral was to be private.

A requiem mass for Thomas M. McGrath of 1943 E. 4th secretary and treasurer of the John C. Welwood Corporation, silk and ribbon firm, 120 W. 42d will be offered at 10 a.m.

Monday at Sts. Simon Jude R. C. Church, Avenue and Van Sicklen St. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

McGrath died Thursday in his home at the age of 67. He was secretary to the American delegation to The Hague Peace Conference in 1899. Surviving are three daughters, Maude E. and Margaret McGrath and Mrs. Dorothy G.

Mattehws, and a sister, Margaret A. McGrath. Religious and Masonic services for William H. Brandin, 50, of 200 Rutland Road, a mechanical engineer for the past 20 years, will be held in his home at 8 p.m. today.

Burial will be in Evergreens Cemetery. Mr. Brandin died Wednesday in Peck Memorial Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn. He was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Sterling Lodge, F.

A. M. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna C. Brandin; his mother, Mrs.
