William John Van Buskirk, 73 years old, a lineal descendant of the John Van Buskirk, who came over in the first Mayflower pilgrim ship, died on Saturday, after a11 illness of eight months, from Bright's disease, at his residence, 390 Tweifth street, South Brooklyn. Mr. Van Buskirk had been for thirty years a foreman of construction in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

He was one of the oldest members of All Saints' P. E. Church. Seventh avenue and Seventh street, and the acting rector. the Rev.

Dr. Matthews, will conduct the funeral services this evening. The interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Van Buskirk was born in old New York City, and had lived most of his lifetime in the Twelfth Ward of Brooklyn.

He went to the front in the Civil War as a member of the Seventy-second Regiment of New York Volunteers, and was wounded in the Battle of Gettysburg. He was a member of the Brooklyn Volunteer Fire Department' and of Rankin Post No. 10, G. A. and Court Olive Branch, Foresters of America.

Mr. Van Buskirk is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William Grahame; a son, Isaiah, and a grandson, Joseph Grahame. Maurice V. Theall.

Maurice V. Theall, 40 years old, 1 well known lawyer of 44 Court street, who lived at the Clarendon Hotel until May 9 last, when he went to St. Peter's Hospital for treatment, yesterday in the hospital from anemia and a complication of diseases. Mr. Theall was born in Brooklyn, the son of Elisha Elizabeth Theall, and had lived here most of his lifetime.

His father was formerly a well known druggist on Sands street. Maurice V. Theall was educated in the public schools, and aws a graduate of the New York Law School. He was a veteran of the Spanish- War, and was well known in Democratic polities in the Twentieth Assembly District, where he was one of the lieutenants of William H. Delaney.

In teh last general election he had charge of all the election cases that came up nuder the jurisdiction of the Democratic General Committee, Mr. Theall was a bachelor, and is survived by three brothers. Thornton a Brooklyn lawyer; Harold also of Brooklyn, and Elisha S. of Washington, D. who is secretary of the Committee on Naval Affairs.

John Brown, 74 years old, of Carlton avenue, who had lived on the same block in that avenue for more than fifty years, died yesterday from kidney disease at the residence of his nephew, Edward J. Brown, 519. West 178th street, Manhattan. His funeral will be held from his late home Brooklyn tomorrow morning, with requiem mass in the R.

C. Church the Sacred Heart, on Clermont avenue, near Park avenue, interment following in Holy Cross Cemtery. Mr. Brown was born in the County Derry, Ireland, and had lived in Brooklyn since he was a boy. He was an old member of the Church of the Sacred Heart, a member of its Holy Name Society, and was well known in Democratic politics in his district.

He was for many years in the employ of the John W. Masury Company as an expert in the manufacture of paints, and for the past nine years had been employed as a guardian in the Liberty National Bank in Manhattan. Mr. Brown was a widower, and is survived only by four nephews. Wilbur Lincoln Doremus.

Wilbur Lincoln Doremus, 50 years old, for many years secretary of the official board of the Hanson Place M. E. Church, Hanson place and St. Felix street, of which he had been a member for twenty years, died yesterday, following an operation, at his residence, 810 Washington avenue, where his funeral services, tomorrow evening, will be conducted by his pastor, the Rev. Dr.

W. H. Kidd. The interment, on Wednesday, will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr.

Doremus was born in Brooklyn in 1866, and for nearly thirty years had been in the employ of the Standard oil Company of New York, at 26 Broadway, Manhattan. At the time of his death he was connected with the transfer department of the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey. is survived by his wife. Pinkney was born in Newtown, the daughter of the late Jabez and Henrietta Peck. She is survived, besides her husband, by two daughters, Jennie E. and Elizabeth a brother, Albert W. Peck of Portchester, N. Y.

Mrs. Bertha Godfrey Berry, Mrs. Bertha Godfrey Berry, 37 years of age, of 2815 Atlantic avenue, East New York, died yesterday, following an operation for appendicitis, in the Lutheran Hospital. Her funeral services will be held tomorrow evening, the Rev. W.

C. Phelps, pastor of the Williams Avenue M. E. Church, of which Mrs. Berry was a member, officiating.

The interment will be in Evergreens Cemetery. Mrs. Berry was born in Brooklyn. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; four children, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Edmund Godfrey. Byron R. Blauvelt. Byron R. Blauvelt, 28 years of age, of 210 Hawthorne street, Flatbush, died on Saturday from tuberculosis, after a long illness.

His funeral services this evening will be conducted by Frederick Kroger, first reader of the Third Church of Christ Scientist. The interment tomorrow will be in Evergreens Cemetery. Mr. Blauvelt was born in Tusket, N. and had lived in Brooklyn since boyhood, except for a period that he resided in Tuxpam.

Isaac Shaw Wilson. Isaac Shaw Wilson, 58 years old, of Shelton, died Saturday, from arterio sclerosis, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur Fricke, 407 East Thirty-second street, Flatbush. Mr. Wilson came here for treatment two months ago.

He was a farmer, near Shelton, and had formerly been A farmer at Jericho, L. I. where he was a member of the Westbury M. E. Church, and his funeral services will be held in that church tomorrow, with interment in the Friends Cemetery.

Wilson is survived by three daughters. Mrs. Fricke, Mrs. Margaret Whaley of Farmingdale, L. Mira Prances Wilson of Shelton, and three Charles Wesley Wilson Albert W.
