Steadily increasing preference for this new type of service resulted in the opening, one by one, of many Walter B. Cooke funeral homes throughout Greater New York. This, our newest establishment, is modern in every detail -fully air-conditioned and fireproof. Its beautifully furnished reposing rooms and suites, all large enough to conduct the entire funeral service, assure an atmosphere of comfort, privacy, restfulness and good taste. Only the building and the furnishings of this finer type of funeral home are new.

The rest is old-old in the sense of a tried and trusted service, reflected by theriendly helpfulness of our competent personnel, members of our staff for many years. Old, also, is the unmatched economy of Walter B. Cooke service. Efficient operation of our modern casket factory; our floral department and our large fleet of the latest automotive equipment still make it possible to offer io 1948 complete funerals from $150 upward. More than one out of every ten families have come to rely on this service.
