Hicksville, June 8 Funeral services for Arthur L. Crossley, 71, who was dean of boys at Thomas Jefferson High School, Brooklyn, when he retired in 1938, will "be held at 8 o'clock tonight at Stock's Funeral Home, 132 Newbridge Road. Burial will be in Cypress Hills Cemetery, tomorrow. Mr. Crossley, who lived at 144 W.

3d here, died Sunday at Nassau Hospital, Mineola, after a long illness. Born in ville, he was graduated from Lafayette College in 1901 and began his teaching career at the Bloomsburg State Normal School, Bloomsburg, Pa. Coming to New York, he taught for awhile at Stuyvesant High School, Manhattan, and Corp. Alfred F. Cardin Corporal Cardin, Killed on Saipan Corp.

Alfred F. Cardin, one of the Pacific war dead recently returned to this country, will be buried tomorrow with military honors in Holy Cross Cemetery following a high mass of requiem at 10 a.m. in Holy Innocents R. C. Church, Beverly Road and E.

Cardin of 351 E. 21st St. He was killed July 12, 1944, on Saipan. Born in Brooklyn, Corporal Cardin attended P. S.

90. He was employed at Topp's Restaurant, Manhattan, when he enlisted with the 69th Regiment in 1940, and left for the Pacific in October, 1941. Prior to Saipan he took part in three major engagements in the South Pacific, including Guadalcanal. Beside parents is survived by a brother, John Cardin and three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Heege, Mrs.

In World War I Mr. Crossley was in charge of the Boys Working Reserve on Long Island. In that capacity he. ganized a number of camps for boys who volunteered to work on farms. He was a former member of the Board of Education Hicksville and was County educational affairs.

He was 73 lived at the Mayfair Apartments, Woodmere. Mr. Schlein was one of the founders of the cemetery and was formerly advertising manager of the Jewish Tageblatt. Surviving are his widow. Mrs.

Celia Gehn Schlein; a daughter, Mrs. A. M. Rechtman, and two sons, Robert and Murray E. Schlein.

Ludolph Albers Retired Caterer Funeral services for Ludolph Albers who for many years was in the catering business in this city, will be held at 8 o'clock tonight at Kearns and Sons Funeral Home. 1504 Bushwick Ave. The Rev. Private Fonte, who was a son of Joseph and Mrs. Josephine Fonte, was killed at Saipan on July 1, 1944. He was 27. Born and educated in Brooklyn, he was engaged in the retail produce business when he entered the army. He was a member of the Avalon Club, 212 22d St.
