Refreshments were then served. Miss Mary E. White, the senior kindergartener, is president of the Mothers Club, which was formed three years ago, and she has been untiring in her efforts to forward ita interests. Miss White has had prominent physicians address the club on health and tho care of children, and from time to time musical and literary friends have given their talents, and conferences have been held on the education and moral welfare of the little ones. Miss White's room was beautifully decorated with flags, plants and pictures of our heroej.

The other kinderarartners are Miss Freileweh and Miss Fischer. NEGROES HONOR LINCOLN. Equal Suffrage League Holds Joint Memorial Meeting for Dead President and Frederick Douglass. The joint celebration In memory of Abraham Lincoln, the emaneipator. and Frederick Douglass, the leader of his people from bondage of American slavery, was held successfully under the auspices of the Kqual Suffrage League at the Carlton Branch Y.
