Harold W. Gustafson Memorial services for Pfc. Harold Walter Gustafson, who died in a Korean prison camp to in January, 1951, after having been reported missing in action as of July 8 the year before, will be conducted at 4 p.m. today Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 59th St. near 11th by the Rev.

Vincent Hawkinson, pastor. Private Gustafson, 27 at the time of his death, was the son Harry and Signe Gustafson of 653 79th St. He was born in Brooklyn, and attended Public School 104 and Brooklyn Vocational High School, leaving the latter to join the Army. Sent to Korea. he served with his outfit there prior to the invasion of the North Koreans and was returned to the United States, re-entering the service at the end of three years.

He was sent back to Korea as an Infantryman and when the 38th Parallel was crossed, he was ordered to the front, serving in the unit headed by Maj. Gen. William Dean, also captured by the Reds. Private Gustafson was reeral days after to ported missing in action, sevthe front lines, and it was not until recently that his parents learned from the Government that he had died in a prison camp some months after his capture. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs.

Mr. Lee, of 648 83d William Gode, 88, Services Tonight Funeral services for William Gode, 88, retired grocer, will be held at 8 tonight in his home, 285 Lincoln Place, where he died Thursday. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Cheshire, Connecticut. Mr. Gode, a native of Germany, came to the United States as a young man, and years ago operated stores at various times in Williamsburg and Ridgewood.

At one time he was in business in Jersey City. He was twice married, first to the former Mathilda Loose and, following her death, to the former Gesine Prigge, now deceased. Surviving are a daughter, Alma M. Gode, a Brooklyn school teacher, and a son, H. William Gode, who is with the Bank of New York.

BROOKLYN EAGLE, MAR. 14, 1954 21 Robert Nightingale, 55, British at Army Veteran of World War I Robert Nightingale, British Army veteran of World War I and a salesman for the Anchor Packing Manhattan, died yesterday of a coronary thrombosis in his home, 8215 4th Ave. He was 55. Mr. Nightingale was Blackburn, Lancaster, England, and came to this country in 1921, making his home since then in Brooklyn.

He was a member the British War Veterans of America. Before going to work for the Anchor Company, a hydraulic packing concern, he was with the James Walker Packing Company for a number of years. He was junior warden of Washington Lodge, F. A. M.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha Nightingale; a son, Fred David Nightingale, and two grandchildren, Robert Edward and Janet Ann Nightingale. Services will be held at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Walter B. Cooke Funeral 20 Snyder with the Rev.

Y. Albert Weber, 54, Boy Scout Leader died Wednesday in Brooklyn Thoracic Hospital. He was C. W. V.

commander here in 1940 and 1941, and was one the founders of the organiza-, Ition in 1936. He active in the Holy Name Society of his parish as well a as in many civic organizations. Surviving are his wife, Lillian; two daughters, Mrs. Ann Hart and Mrs. Virginia Da Costa; a brother, Edward; two sisters, Mrs.

Lillian Tyrell and Mrs. Marie Bluemel, and three grandchildren. Albert Weber, a Flatbush Boy Scout leader, died yesterday in his home, 368 E. 26th St. He was 54.

Mr. Weber, born in the Bronx, came to Brooklyn 28 years ago, land was a member of All Souls Universalist Church, Ocean and Ditmas where he served as chairman of handicraft for the Scout Cub Pack. He also was skipper of Sea Scout Ship 371. An electrician, Mr. Weber was employed by various contracting concerns.

He was a member of Local 3. International Brotherhood of Electrical Engineers and of the Modern of America. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Weber, and his mother, Mrs. Caroline Weber.

Services will be held at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow at the residence, with the Rev. Dr. Cornelius. Greenway, pastor of All Souls Church, officiating.

Burial will be Tuesday in Cypress Hills Cemetery.
