MAKING 'SNOW' -Mother and small daughter -combine Lux soap flakes and water and beat into "snow." Curiosity About Anatomy Is Natural at Four Years By BEULAH FRANCE, R.N. (Q.) Our 4-year-old daughter is very curious about her anatomy. She keeps asking for explanations about various parts of her body and about our bodies too. The doctor made light of it but it rather worries us. We answer all her queries correctly and casually but her curiosity seems to be insatiable.

Now she is asking about God, death, and where people who die go. We have told her what we believe according to our Jewish faith. At the library I asked for books which would help us explain these things to her but they said they had nothing. Would you be able to help us? Mrs. B.

Z. (A.) Her curiosity about her body and your body is perfectly natural. You are doing right in telling her what she asks and I no more. The doctor is correct in making "light of it." What Indoor 'Snow' Flakes Whether or not it's a white Christmas out of doors, we can all have a glistening, realistic white Christmas indoors with snow on trees and window ledges. And, when the children join in the fun of preparation and applying the snow, the tree seems just that much more important! Here's all you do: 1. Pour a package of Lux flakes into a large bowl.

2. Add about 2 cups of warm water, mixing with an eggbeater or electric mixer to consistency of thick whipped cream. 3. Spread along the branches of your tree or other decoration while mixture is still moist. When you put the "snow" on the window ledges, strip scotch tape over the paint beneath, to save having to wipe it off later.

Sparkling, fluffy snow brightens many other decorations besides your Christmas tree: the wreath in the window, branches in the vase, even your table centerpiece. To create a cheery snowflake effect on the windows, just dampen the pane and blow dry soap flakes on it. Almost any child will enjoy making soapflake snowballs in three sizes, as holders for Christmas candles. Shape to 3, 31 and 4 inches in diameter, using about three 12-ounce boxes of Lux flakes. The soap can be reused later.
