21, at St Saviour's Church, of Miss Lucy Traine, the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Traine. The bridegroom is Dean Worcester. There will be many house parties during the week of the wedding.

Just now there is a dearth of young people at Bar Harbor, especially, young men, but on Aug. 1 the two Luquer boys will return, and the two Hohbins boys, who have been for six weeks on a ranch in Wyoming. Lea Luquer is at Columbia Summer School. Edgar Scott, who Is a director of the Swimming Club, and his brother, Warwick, are here. Northeast Harbor is filled with young people, and those in Bar Harbor motor over tho.re for their social pleasure.

The Friday night ball at the Rock End was a brilliant affair and well attended by Bar Harbor's younger But. The two Scott boys, the. Stewart girls, their cousins, Elise Everett, and her fiance, Paul Abbott, were among those who went. The interesting Grindstone Inn fit Grindstone Neck, Winter Harbor, is having an unusually brilliant season. Grindstone Neck is peopled with a very exclusive Philadelphia element, wilii whom it is difficult to get a foothold, although one of the pioneers of the place was John G.

Moore of Moore. Schey, New York bankers. A daughter of Mrs. Moore is Ludy Lee of Fare-ham, who is restoring the ancestral home of George Washington in England as an American shrine. Her sister, Faith Moore, Is In England, also, and the Moore house at Grindstone Is occupied by the Prcstons.

After his death Mr. Moore's second wife married Warner Leeds. Miss Thurston of the Plerpont Library, New York, Is a guest for two weeks of Mrs. George D. Pratt.

The Louis B. Mcfaggs were up for a few davs this week from New York and put' up at the Malvern. They have taken "The Dustpan" for three weeks while alterations are being made on their Salisbury Cove house. They sold Woodlands last year to W. S.

Moore, who married Edith Pulitzer. Guests at Milford, Pa. (Special to The Eagle.) Milford, July 31. The summer here has been just one fine time after another for the people at the many resorts and the farm houses. Perhaps the guests of the Bluff House, the largest hotel here, are having about the best time of any, with the continual round of enjoyment of all kinds, the river sports and tennis and othef games.
