I Marriage Licenses the symptoms and treatment are different. Sunstroke, sometime-! called heat stroke, has the same sym-toms although the cause may be slightly different. The former is Usually due to direct exposure to the sun's rays while the latter is due to excessive indoor heat. The first signs are usually acute pain in the head, dizziness and dryness of the mouth and skin. The face becomes red, breathing becomes difficult, the pulse gets pounding and rapid and the temperature starts to rise.

If the exposure has been severe, the patient usually loses consciousness. What to I) The treatment consists In lowering the body temperature by increasing heat elimination and preventing further heat production. Immediately upon noticing the beginning of any of these the person should be removed to the shade and a cool place, if possible. While waiting for a doctor, emergency treatment may be given by lying the patient his back with the head and shoulders slightly raised. It i wise to remove a much cloth ing as possible to allow for escape of body heat.
