J. M. Bacon Estate Left to His Widow And 2 Daughters Husband Sole Beneficiary Under Wife's WillFord Estate to Sisters Joseph M. Bacon, coal merchant in Brooklyn for half a century, left the residue of his estate, valued at "more than $2,000," to his widow, Annie, of 867 Park Place. Under the terms of his will, $5,000 passes to a daughter, Mrs.

Marguerite Smallwood, and Mrs. Elizabeth Reiber, another daughter, of Richmond Hill, gets $2,000. Three, daughters share equally in a estate left by Mrs. Alice M. Elliot, who died Dec.

19 at the Hotel Bossert. They are Mrs. Annie E. Howe of Pine Valley, N. Mrs.

Mary E. Reeve of Moorestown, N. and Mrs. Lucy E. Corbin of 911 Park Manhattan.

Leaves $17,000 to Husband Mrs. Elizabeth M. Herrington, former secretary of the Brewster Publishing Company, left an estate of more than $17,000 to her husband, George, of 279 Washington Ave. She died Dec. 26.

An estate of "more than $10,000" was left by Emil Scherrer, who died Jan, 1 at 24 Himrod St. Under the terms of his will Madeline Bogart, a daughter, gets only $1 "for reasons best known to herself." Legacies of $2,000 each are left to two sons, Frank and George, and to a daughter, Louise Sandhoff. Property at the Himrod St. address and the residue pass in trust to the widow, Rose. On her death children and grandchildren will receive the principal.

Widow Gets Estate Mrs. Carlotta Signaigo of 670 51st receives in trust an estate of $25,000 left by her husband, Antonio, who died Dec. 20. On her death her children will benefit. under the husband's will.

Mrs. Roselle Strauss of 1332 Jetferson Ave. is named sole beneficiary in the will of her husband, Alexander, who died Dec. 24 and left an estate of "more than $10,000." sisters share an estate of $10,000 left by John Ford, who died Dec. 20 at 614.

CAVANAGH, 14, for whom solemn mass of requiem will be celebrated at the Holy Rosary R. C. Church, Chauncey St. near Reid tomorrow at 10 a.m., died at his home, 591-A Decatur Wednesday, after a short 111- ness. He was a son of Thomas J.

and Elizabeth Fallon Cavanagh. His father is well known in the Police Department, being attached to the 13th Detective Bureau, with headquarters at the Ralph Avenue station. His parents, four sisters, Gertrude, Frances, Beatrice and Elizabeth, and four brothers, Joseph, Thomas J. John and Charles H. survive him.

Indict 45 on N. J. Election Charges Atlantic City, Jan. 8 -Prosecutor Louis A. Repetto announced yesterday that the Atlantic County Grand Jury had returned 51 indictments against 45 persons as a result of the probe of alleged illegal activities at the last election.

The indictments charge intimidation and aiding in false registration. Among those indicted, the prosecutor said, are Andrew Wilson a Republican leader of the 4th Ward, and Thomas Sweeney, a city policeman, and his wife, Sarah. McAneny Rebukes City on Sanitation City officials were rebuked yesterday by George McAneny, president of the Regional Plan Association, for their "continuing neglect" to provide an adequate sanitation system for the city and harbor. McAneny was addressing the Chamber of Commerce of the State of New York and appealed to them to "wake the town." He pointed out that whereas millions were being spent on other phases of the regional plan, the harbor remains polluted. Seeks Virginia Ban On Stock Exchange Richmond, Jan.

8 (AP)-A petition asking revocation of recognition of the New York Stock Exchange by Virginia will be heard by the State Corporation Commission in February.
