S. Perry, Bessie HENRY GREIS DIES Henry Greis of 1424 Marlboro Plainfleld, N. a former resident of Brooklyn for many years, died last night in his 71st year. He was a life member of Stuyvesant Lodge, F. A.

and leaves two daughters. Mrs. Frederick Kirchner and Mrs. Rudolph Arndts. and three brothers.

Interment will take place on morning. Holsten started his banking cureer In Bay Riite in 1907. At thut time he was ns.oclated with the old Bor ough Park Bank. He left that Institution in 19C8 to take a position with the Home Bank, than located at 48th St. and 5th Ave.

The Home Bank was by a group of Bay Ridyites, neadea by Dr. M. T. Lewis, present head Of the Eay Ridge Savings Bank. Retained as Manager Holsten rose to a UWM otliclal position with the bunk and when that institution was taken over by the People's Trust Company, after moving to 54th St.

and 5ih he was retained as head of the branch. Later the People's Trust Company wus merged with the National City Bank and this institution retained him to manage its affairs in Bay Ridtfe. Holsten was one of the bes known bunk ullicials in the Bay Hiilsje section. He was active in ail community nffaiis and a member of muny local organizations. Besides the Brooklyn Bankers' Club, Holsten was a member of the 12:30 Club of Bay Ridge, the Bay Ridge Chamber of Commerce, the Merchants' ann Manufacturers' Association of Bush Terminal, and of Day Star F.
