Granting of the motion would obviate the necessity of a trial and an open discussion of the charges by the defendants that they signed the notes simply to cover up illegal contributions to the Bmith Presidential campaign by the bank. Raskob Denies Charges It would also mean that Democratic National Chairman John J. Raskob would be saved the necessity of making good the notes. This means that fair weather is likely to continue in New York, with a possibility of higher temperatures tomorrow if the winds become southerly. While a low is developing between Hatteras and Florida, this will hardly affect New York. New York is much more likely to benefit from the high that extends from the Oreat Lakes to Mississippi. A threat exists in the growth of the Alberta low which has forced its way over the American border as far south as Nebraska. This low, however, is not likely to reach New York for 48 hours.
