ARTHUR COOPER, Secretary. d29-3 COMING AUTO SHOWS AROUSE INTEREST The automobile world is all 9808 over the coming automobile shows. There will be two exhibitions in New York, one beginning on Monday, January 3, in the ball room of the Astor, and the other opening next Friday afternoon at the Grand Central Palace. There is greater interest in both shows this year than in previous seasons, due to the fact that the war has cut off to a large extent the shipment of foreign made cars to this country, and for that reason domestic manufacturers are extending themselves to have their exhibits bigger, better and more complete than ever before.

CRESCENTS WIN AGAIN The Crescent Athletic Club's ball team met the Lehigh University five at the Second Signal Corps armory last night, and again emerged vietorious, completing the first lap of the hardest week that the team will face all season. The score was 28 to 16. Captain Eddie Butler used every Crescent man available, and only Sandy Calder was unused. The latter also would have played had it not been for his weak ankle. It is expected that Calder will be in shape for the Dartmouth game, which will be played tomorrow night at the same place.

The work of Captain Butler, Gilbert Halstead and Felix Nicklas featured for the Crescents, while, despite the fact that he was poor on goals from fouls. Crichton, together with his teammate Brewster, showed best for the collegians. Lineup: Crescent (28). Position. Lehigh (16).
