This is expected to be the best attended meeting of the year, because it will be the last until next September, as the association does not hold meetings in July or August. Reports will be read on matters of interest to the membership in Brooklyn, among which will be the final one on the Koyal Arcanum Day celebration, which will be held on Saturday, June 19, at rimer Park. Another report of interest will be from the committee on the midsummer carnival, which is to be held late in July, and is generally in the form of theater party. 4th Ward Trade Hoard Would Prevent Discrimination. The Twenty-fourth Ward Board of Trade held its regular monthly meet ing last night in the Albany Theater Building, St. John's place and Albany avenue. A committee composed of Ernest Eggert, C. A.

Weed and John H. Don-Ian was appointed to confer with the Public Service Commislson on telephone rates. The members feel that there should be no discrimination between the subscribers of limited and unlimited contracts in regard to telephoning outside the borough without extra charge. The question of noises caused by flat wheeled freight cars passing along Atlantic avenue was also brought up. It was pointed out that the noise results in a lessening of the values of real estate along the avenue and ttuit it annoys patients in St.

John's Hospital. The members believe that the noises could be easily remedied by the railroad company. At the close of the business meeting Adolph Keklblunu a Manhattan lawyer, made an address.
