The zero front extends to Colorado, Kansas, Iowa and western Wisconsin, and you can see that the freezing line extends Into the Gulf of Mexico. Snow Is falling as far south as Mississippi and Alabama. The Ohio and Tennessee Valley low is developing slowly northeastward and is now central over Virginia and Pennsylvania. As a result heavy rainfalls have been reported throughout the area, and snows are anticipated in the next 24 hours along the coast. By the barometer shift we will be rid of the persistent fog.

Also, note the northwest high, which has extended south to the Texas coast and is developing eastward behind the low. Tomorrow should see important changes. Shipping Nctvs Incoming Passenger and Mail Steamships TODAY. ShiD and Line. From.

Loses $9,04 Suit Against I. Bank A suit by the Government against the Bank of Coney Island for $9,044 was dismissed late yesterday by Federal Judge Clarence B. Galston. The action was based on a tax refund check to the order of Malcolm S. Mackey, as administrator of the estate of Jennie E.

He earns plenty of money. The poor little dumb guy just plugs along in some mediocre job, doesn't get much pay, puts money into the savings bank every week "For what?" asks the wise guy. Then the boss decides to sell his business and retire. The man with some money can buy it. The poor little dumb guy takes out his bank book, looks at it, and says, "I'll buy it." The wise guy says, "Yeah, but what'll you do with it when you get it? You don't know anything about this business." "All right," says the dumb guy; "1 11 buy the business anyway, and hire you to run it for me." That's one reason why there axe so many wise guys working for dumb guys.
