Consolidated Film did a little better on the announcement that five months' earning were equal to- about $1.36 a share, or at the rate of approximately $3.25 per annum. Although the stock has never been much of a speculative favorite, some observers pointed out that it is now selling at less than seven times its current annual rate of earnings and yields nearly 9 percent in dividends. Servel.

Servel was somewhat firmer on a report that five months' sales were about 90 percent above last year. The president of the company was quoted as saying that despite this expansion overhead expenses had been reduced. Admissions.
