A class of over 300 boys and girls was graduated. Supreme Court Justice MacCrate was the speaker. In a short speech of Introduction for Justice MacCrate, Warren M.

Van Name, the principal of Dewey, said a few words in farewell to the graduating class. He also thanked the Parents" Association for the money for a school lunch room, which the association has raised, totaling $3,000. The work is to be done this summer. Hear Justice MacCrate. Justice MacCrate made a short informal speech to the graduating class.

He asked them to take as their motto "I will repay," that they might always be reminded of the debt they owed to their parents, their teachers, their city and their country. In the ceremony of the transfer of the colors, the honor pupils of the graduating class handed on their trust to the honor pupils of the incoming senior class. Mr.
