Gallup, curator-in-chicf. The museum, in planning its field trips, has endeavored to make them diverse in character and at the same time keep the cost of transportation to a minimum. Miss Gallup said.

She pointed out that the museum docents, Mrs. Philip G. Evans and Mrs. Charles E. Scott, who are In charge of the field trips are increasingly handicapped each) year in their search for woods, fields and beach' in their natural stats within a short distance of the mu seum in which children may collect plants, minerals and insects.

Three Trips a Week The trips beginning on Wednes day, July 6, will be held every Mon day, Wednesday and Friday during July and August. Children taking) part will leave the Children's Mu seum at 9 o'clock in the morning and return about 5 o'clock in tha afternoon. No children under nlna years of age can go on the trips unless they are good hikers and arj accompanied by older brothers ana sisters. 1 The schedule of field trips in eludes eight trips in which the cos! of transportation will be 10 cents; four, 15 cents; nine. 20 cents; two, 30 cents: one, 40 cents, and one, 83 cents.

If it soon approves the paving plans and appropriates the required sum, contracts can be let and the highway probably thrown open to give temporary relief this Fall to Brooklyn motorists traveling into Queens and Long Island.
