Dodd. speaking before the West Flatbush League last night, traced the greater percentage of crimes to the desire to make a living with the least possible effort and urged as a remedy the increased attractiveness of home life. The league held its regular meeting in the Beverly Presbyterian Church, Beverly rd.

and E. 8th st. "Although there are mere inducements to happy home life now than ever before, ve find that there is less real home life," said District Attorney Dodd. He declared that youths are tempted by outside allurements to make money and this avidity has made robbery the most prevalent offense. In first degree robberies, where a gun is used, Dodd would send the offender to prison for life, Instead of the minimum penalty of 20 years as imposed by the Baumes laws.

"Any person who perpetrates a larceny or robbery with a gun is a potential murderer and should be segregated for the rest of his natural life," he argued. "Although the crime wave has been called an aftermath of the uar. the real criminals are not men who were actively engaged in it," he asserted, adding that "comparatively few war veterans are involved in serious crimes." Grace Callahan, Wlllard This sign is on our place of business. We sell the Exide, made by The Electric Storage Battery but we cheerfully service all makes. I I a COMPANY FOR DINNER-Let'emcome-the more the merrier. Electrolux makes ice cubes enough to fill all the glasses, and then some. Keeps food perfectly, no matter how much you put into it; chills delicious salads and desserts, no matter how many chairs at the table.

And you can depend upon Electrolux, becauseithasno gadgets to get out of order. HERE ARE THE FACTS Noiseless No moving parts Only a few cents a day to operate Lasts indefinitely No mechanism to wear, to vibrate, to need oil Free from trouble Perpetual, 6teady cold Plenty of pure ice cubes Tested and endorsed by national authorities "BUT WHEN I dPENED THE DOOR can't possibly be running, I used to think, when I first got my Electrolux. There wasn't a sound out of it. But when I opened the door the box was just as cold inside and see all th tempting ice cubes it makes." All because a tiny gas flame-nothing else makes this refrigerator work. No machinery, no starting or stopping.

Therefore no noise whatever, and practically no variation of temperature just constant, steady cold. Whitley, Jane iiapp, ueorgene ouura's, TJraula O'Brien, Marguerite Haug, Firdi-nand TJntlg.
