in Week. Heavy construction projects that reached the proposed stage in the United States in the past week were valued at $73,350,000, which compares with $66,250,000 in the preceding week and $58,500,000 in the corresponding week last year. Increased activity was noted during the week In public works and railroad improvements. The money value of large construction jobs for the week by classes, shown in a survey of the McGraw-Hill construction reports, follows: Public work, including road construction, rail road improvements, apartment houses and hotels, commercial buildings, educational buildings, industrial projects, and unclassified jobs, $5,800,000. San Francisco College for Women is having sketches prepared for a group of buildings to cost more than $1,000,000.

Construction of a high school, to cost $1,000,000, is planned in Albany, N. Y. University of Wisconsin plans an engineering building and a field house, the structures to cost about $1,000,000. Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad is to build an 85-mlle extension into Kansas City, from a point west of Trenton, the cost of the improvements being estimated at $10,000,000. The Southern Pacific is to spend more than $3,000,000 on improvements to its lines in California.

The American Can Company is to build a dock and warehouse in Seattle, the cost to approximate $1,000,000. TO BOLD IN SCARSDALE. Prince Ripley, sold from the plans of a large English house to be built on a two-acre plot on Dolma in the Murray Hill section of Scarsdae. The house is to be built by the Collet Construction Company from plans made by Eugene J. Lang, architect.

BOARD PLANS DELEGATION TO CONVENTION Many Realtors Will Co to Boston June 25 on Special Train, Boat or by Air. A large delegation of members of the Brooklyn Real Estate Board is planning to attend the annual convention of Real Estate Boards to be held at Boston, June 25 to 28. Ac cording to present plans the delegation will travel in four groups-one by air, another by boat, a third by train and the last by motorcar. The national convention this year will include numerous conferences on real estate financing, industrial property, renting and selling, methods of getting new business and other similar topics. All phases of the real estate business are to be covered in the three-day convention.

I. Developer Annexes 673 Lots to Large Property- Contracts for Investments The McGolrick Realty Corpora tion of which J. E. McGolrick, President, extcnted its holdlngu at Massapequa, Long Island, last week with the purchase of 40 acres from the Hilkt Realty Corporation. This acreage comprises 673 lots.
