It is almost like a relay race, for each one trys to see how many times he can go up and down the street before it is time for him to hand over his skates. Each one tries to beat his brother's record. The latest kind of party is a "bear and roller skating" party. Oh, it will be nice when it gets sizzling hot at least there will not be any roller skating ancedotes. DO YOU KNOW that one Junior Leaguer will arrange for your Summer vacation in South Egremount; that another young woman will lead a group in Europe; that Phyllis Barnes looks as if she stepped out of a fashion magazine in her navy blue crepe suit with cartridge plaited sleeve tops, and wearing a wide brimmed sailor; that Sylvia Turner wears a blue suit with a long cape which is very becoming; that a good way to give an original shower party is to shower the bride-to-be with petals upon which are 'written directions for finding Westhampton Beach Homes Opened by Brooklynites Mrs.

Such a love affair has occurred In our own circles. Last week a young woman, who is a Packer and Smith College graduate, announced hei ensacement. That is not so sur prising as she is a very attractive and popular young woman, but when you read about the announcement did you realize that the blond lady in question, who has been working as a secretary, is engaged to her "boss." Isn't it romantic? WON'T IT BE NICE when the real warm weather sets in? It will be pleasant at the seashore as well as in the mountains.

Another reason to welcome the hot weather is that it will be too hot to roller skate. The borough's younger set have been doing so many things on skates that it is almost impossible to keep up with them. At an Amateur play given this month the ushers were on skates. The guests the play were very useful, for they keep the ushers from tailing. What a life! Then there Specii! to The Eagle Sayville, May 27 Mr.
