OBITUARY MRS. CATHERINE DURKIN of 159 Hall st. died Monday after a short illness. She was born in Ireland 48 years ago and is survived by her husband, eight children, Molly, Catherine, Eileen, Jack, Walter, Lawrence, Rickard and James; three sisters, Miss Marie Murphy, Mrs. Bridget Murphy and Mrs.

John O'Gara, and a brother, Patrick, who lives in Ireland. A high mass of requiem will be offered in Sacred Heart Church by Father O'Mara tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. ANTON SPINNER, a retired machinist, died Monday.

He was born in Germany 87 years ago and was a resident of Brooklyn for 50 years. He is survived by two sons, Edward and Frank; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral will be held from his son's home, 159 Gravesend tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. EVSER LEVITON, 70 years old, of 721 E. 7th died in his home yesterday after an illness of four weeks.

Mr. Leviton was a member of the firm of the Leviton Manufacturing Company, 226 Newell Funeral services will be held in his residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Montefore Cemetery. Queens. He is survived by his wife, Rose, and two sons, Isidor and Paul.

MISS MATHILDA R. JEBENS, member of an old Newtown family and a lifelong resident of Elmhurst, died yesterday morning in a Brooklyn hospital. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 47 Broadway, Elmburst, tomorrow night with the Rev. Howard Northacker officiating. here Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery on Friday afternoon.

She was the daughter of the late John H. and C. Wilhelmina Jebens and leaves two brothers, William H. and John and a sister, Louise. Members of her family have long conducted a furniture store at 86-32 Broadway, Elmhurst.

Brooklyn Man Arrested In Newark for Larceny Newark, N. Feb. 27 Morris Finkelstein, 22, of 1054 Bedford Brooklyn, was arrested yesterday by Newark detectives, charged with grand larceny. The arrest followed observation of Finkelstein by Lieutent Heller and Detective Weckstein of Newark when it was found that radiator cores being delivered to the Public Service Co-ordinated Transport. a Newark company, were disappearing mysteriously.
