Miss Harriette Love Married To Darwin Aldridge Smith Miss Harriette Augusta Love, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Cornelius Ruston Love of 167 Clinton was married to Darwin Aldridge Smith, con of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hull Smith of 1 Pierrepont in St.

Ann's Church yesterday afternoon at, 4:30 o'clock, the Rev. Samuel Dorrance performing the ceremony. A reception followed at the Heights Casino. Miss Love wore a becoming gown of white satin, made in empire style. She wore a veil of tulle, held in place by a cap of lace which had been worn her grandmother and her mother at their weddings.

wore lace mitts and carried an oldfashioned nosegay of orange biossoms framed with a ruffle of rosepoint lace which had also been worn by her grandmother at her wedding. Mrs. John Joseph Blust (Grace Love) was matron of honor for her sister and the bridesmaids were the Misses Janet MacNaughton, Olivia Putnam. Dorothea Dreier, Betsy Smith. Marjorie Baldwin and Caroline Garvin.

The Misses Margretta Love and Gloranna Smith were flower girls. The matron of honor wore a delphinium blue gown of point d'esprit. made with a train: puff sleeves and a large bow at the back. She wore a lace cap with a point d'esprit veil which hung to the waist and lace mitts. The bridesmaids had peach point d'esprit gowns trimmed with delphinium blue sashes.

They wore lace caps with veils to their waists, lace mitts and all carried old-fashioned nosegays of roses and delphinium. The flower girls wore blue satin empire style gowns and lace caps. Leonard Hull Smith Jr. was best. man for his brother and the ushers were Donald Ross, Richard Brooks Love.

Edwin Cornehlsen, Jack Blust, Robert Love, Freeman Love, Cornelius Ruxton Love Jr. and Edmund Foster of Connecticut. The bride was graduated from Packer Collegiate Institute with the class of 1928 and is a member of the Heights Casino. Mr. Smith received his education at the Poly Country Day School and at Williamsh College, where he was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon and the Purple Ker.

Large Dinner at Montauk Club Preceded Opening Of Annual Horse Show Not since before the war have there been so many handsome evening wraps and dresses worn on the opening night of the Brooklyn Horse Show as were seen last evening when the 38th annual show opened at the Riding and Driving Club. White ermine wraps over modishly made evening gowns and black velvet wraps made in the new short-coat effect with a large, becoming collar of white fox were much in evidence. Several new boxes have been added at one end of the arena, bringing the number of boxes up to about 36. A dinner was given before the show for the judges and executive committee at the Montauk Club.
