Munkenbeck is president, gave a bridge party in the parish house of the Union Church, Ridge Boulevard and 81st Monday afternoon. Mrs. Bernardus Evertsen was chairman of the affair and had as her assistants Mrs.

William Morgan, who was in charge of refreshments; Mrs. Robert Vance, tickets; Mrs. William Richard, candy; Mrs. Clinton Bennett, prizes; Mrs. Henry Lake, cake table; Mrs.

Graham Townsend, tables. A number of young girls sold candy and later helped serve the refreshments. The sessions will be held as follows: Mondays, beginning Feb. 6. voice culture; Tuesdays, beginning Feb. 7, harmony; Wednesdays, beE ginning Feb. 8, counterpoint.

Each of these is a 30-hour course of 15 sessions from 4 to 6 p.m. Interested persons are invited to attend the opening session. PERSHING JUNIOR GRADUATES 307 Principal Ludwig Delivers Address at Utrecht Auditorium Three hundred and four were graduated at the exercises of the John J. Pershing Junior High School held Wednesday in the auditorium of New Utrecht High School, 79th St. and 17th Ave.

Augustus Ludwig, principal, presided and delivered the address to the graduates. The salutatory was made by Leon Wolf and Anna Bellinin was the valedictorian. Leona R. Seides gave the message of appreciation. Musical numbers were given by the school orchestra under the direction of Anna R.

Lynch and the Pershing Glee Club under the direction of Helen Driscoll. AUGUSTINE SHOW Youth Charges, Neighbor Him; Hearing Set James Creighton, 40, of 460 Prospect charged of with beating the 15-year-old son a neighbor, was paroled until Feb. 15 for a hearing when arraigned yesterday in the 5th Ave, court before Magistrate George H. Folwell.

Charged with third degree assault Creighton was held on the complaint of John J. Mayer, schoolboy of 456 Prospect who said the man had eaten him severely on the street. The boy charged that Creighton on Jan. 25 caught him on the street near his home and struck him about the head and face. According to boy, he received several blows from Creighton's fist and sustained a number of bruises.

Merchants Committee Get New Clubrooms The new clubrooms of the Merchants and Manufacturers Association of Bush Terminal have been taken over by the members of the house and speakers' committee of the unit. Under the direction of Frank E. O'Rourke, chairman of the committee, decorations and furnishings are being installed in the clubrooms, which located at 4th Ave. and 35th St. According to O'Rourke, the new clubrooms will be ready for use by the middle of this month.

The rooms, in the opinion of the chairman, are suitable for members to use for lounging or conference. Camp Fire Girls Hold Card Party Tonight The Nita Anoka Camp Fire Girls, which meets at the Fourth Avenue Methodist Church, will hold a card and bunco party tonight the Kings County Lighting Company Building, 67th St. and 4th Ave. Miss Mae E. Pollock is guardian of the group, Miss Alice Bennett is secretary, and Miss Gertrude Mahoney is treasurer.

The other members include the Misses Dorothy Williams, Beatrice and Helen Christie, Goddard, Eleanor Ludolph, 'Evelyn Keenan, Lillian Hempstead, Ada North and Betty Lange. Among the features, it was said, will be N. T.G. and Eddie Cantor's Paradise Restaurant Girls. Morton Downey, radio tenor is scheduled to appear and Gus Van and Jack White also will be on Bill Robinson of Harlem, likewise has promised to "do his stuff" for the Bay Ridge veterans. The first results of the drive were evident yesterday when 12 men charged with smoking on subway platforms were arraigned in the 5th Ave. court and handed over a total of $12 to the city treasury in the way of fines.

Outfit Holds First Place in Brooklyn Amateur League After playing on even terms during the first half of their encounter with the Ranger Athletic Club, the Sunset et Veterans Association basketball team unleashed a powerful scoring attack during the third quarter and piled up a total of 16 points which enabled them to completely outclass their opponents and win, 45-27, in a contest played on the Bay Ridge Hebrew Community House court on Sunday night, By winning their fourth consecutive game in the second half of the league schedule, the Sunset Veterans assumed first place in the Brooklyn Amateur League.
