At a pre-convention meeting held in the assembly's headquarters, 204 East Broadway, nine of the rabbis, composing the convention committee, discussed measures to be brought before the assembly. Saying that the holding of services in dance halls, moving picture houses and theaters tended to degrade the Importance of the High Holy Days, the committee will urge that the organization protest against the use of such places.
