To the above named defendant, Holier Anderson: Pecora Reported First Choice to Succeed Conboy Ferdinand Pecora, former Assistant District Attorney and counsel to the Senate Banking and Currency Committee in the stock market inquiry, was reported today to be President Roosevelt's first choice A father and his son are dead and the mother is in the hospital today in a critical condition as the result of crashing head-on into a traffic light stanchion at Ocean Parkway and Beverly Road yesterday while returning in their automobile from a wedding.

The dead are Samuel Singer, 50, a Brooklyn insurance broker, and Milton Singer, 21, an assistant casting director for Warner Brothers Pictures, Inc. They were killed instantly. Mrs. Ida Singer, 50, sustained a possible skull fracture, internal Injuries and severe lacerations, and was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where it was reported early today that she was still in a critical condition. The family was returning to their home at 2409 Avenue from the wedding of a relative In New Haven, when the crash occurred.
