13 The locality famous "bed bug case" was tried here before Justice Charles K. Kaynor Saturday and a smart audience of summer colonists wore present to got the de. tails. Miss Tsabel Jessup sued Howard Townsend, of Orange, N. a Westhampton Beach summer resident, for $200 rent on the Jessup cottage, which Mr.

Townsend took for the summer and then abandoned. Mr. Townsend left, he told the Court, because he found the cottage already occupied. Many tenants, he said, were concealed in the corners of the rooms. When he left, Miss Jessup "gassed" the cottage and obtained another biped tenant, who, however, did not pay as much rent as Mr.

Townsend. He paid $21)0 less than Mr. Townsend and Miss insists that he make up the difference. Justice P.aynor will give his decision later in the week. 3 UAMEP.ICA LINE KZ' NEW YORK TO ROTTERDAM VIA riTMOLTM.
