Undoubtedly one of the largest Masonic excursions that ever moved from Fulton Ferry took placo yesterday morninir, wbon tho Zerodetha, Hohonlindcn and Brooklyn lodges, F. A. Nassau Chapter, R. A. and Clinton Commaudery, K.

all combined and wont to Eagleswood Park. In Masonic circles thia evont created great interest. The object of tho combination was to commomorato tho complotlon of tho now rooms In the Cochran BuildingB, which will bo used altornately hereafter by the lodges above mentioned. These rooms aro situated at Nos. 304 and 306 Fulton Btreet.

They aro 70 feet long and 35 feet broad. There 1b a banquotiog hall, whioh measures It feet by 17, and a kitchen of similar dimensions. Tho furniture is made of' Bolid black walnut and tka wails aro riohly frcsooed. Tho floor is covered with a thick Brussola carpet. In tho centre of tho ceiling is a dome oome thirty feet in oiroumferonco, and fmm thin dome bancs a rich chandelier eupportod by twelve bronzo armB, eaoh wearing a gauntlet with tho cross on tbo back.

Tho rooms coat $3,500. On Monday they will bo occupied by Zeredatha Lodge, on Tuesday by the Clinton Commandory, on Wednesday by Nassau Chapter, on Thursday by Hohenlinden Lodge and on Friday by Brooklyn Lodge. At half past ton o'olook the ateamer Long Branch and tho bargos William J. Haskett and Walter Sands left the dock with their human froight. As usual, there were a fow pereons left behind, but tho Committee did not concern itsolf about them.

The boats sped on their courso and tho guests got ready to take part in tho opening xiromenado. The excursion, beside being a combination of lodges, was also a combination of nationalities. Tbe American, tho Scotchman, the Englishman, the Irishman and tho Gorman wero all represented, and took part in the festivities of tho day with a unanimity of fooling wbich was admirable. Nothing occurred to mar tho ploaeuro or harmonious feeling of the occasion. Tho llttlo children found recreation in tho way they knew best, and their parents kept a watchful eye on thorn so that their fun would not degonoralo into miscniei.

it was half past ono o'clock when the destination was reachod, and about half an hour was occupied in disembarking. There was a race for tob'es and benches, and a cry for baskets when tho pier wf.s touched. Some people foil headlong over their lunch baskets in their offorts to ascend tho hill first, and splllod the precious contents ail over ground. Wbon tho tablo clothB wero spread tho bottoms of roomy lunch baskets were soon found. After dinner the various amusements common to such excursions were enjoyed until ot length, tired and satisfied, tbey mado their way to tho boats.

The return voyage boau at half past four o'clock, and Fulton Ferry was reachod at about oight o'clock, when tbo guests disparaod and took their several ways homeward. Tho following committeo men who wero in chargo seem to bavo omitted nothing that conduco to tho comlort and entortalnment of their (jjists Floor Manager, John T.
