Hartman), of 48 Maple Court, a daughter, Elizabeth Lucile, Friday, June 13th. Deaths Mrs. Elizabeth, widow of Mr. Charles Chesebrough, at her summer home, in Huntington, June 18th. Mrs.

Chesebrough was born in New York City 84 years ago, the daughter of Simeon Groton and Elizabeth Ensign. She and her husband spent many of their summers in Northport, where they owned a large estate. Mrs. Chesebrough is survived by five children, the Messrs. William Augustus Albert and Thomas F.

Chesebrough and Mrs. Thomas McCorkle, wife of Walter McCorkle, a New York lawyer. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at her late residence, conducted by the Rev. William Holden, and the interment was in the Genola Cemetery at Northport. KRAUSS- Charles Herman, 299 Sterling Place, June 26th.

Mr. Lehrenkrauss was a member of the banking firm of J. Lehrenkrauss Sons, 359 Fulton Street. He was fifty-three years of age. Mr.

Lehrenkrauss was born in Brooklyn February 23rd, 1870, and was educated in the public schools of this city. At the age of thirteen he went into the banking house established by his father, and at the age of twenty-one was taken into the firm as a partner, with his brother, Julius. He was the younger member of the firm. Julius Lehrenkrauss, his father and founder of the business, died fifteen years ago and he and his brother, Julius, have continued the business. He is survived by his wife, Katherine M.

Lehrenkrauss; a sister, Mrs. Elise Coger; his son, Charles F. W. Lehrenkrauss; a daughter, Mrs. Adrian A.

Schiess, of Garden City, L. and two grandchildren, Adrian, and Katherine M. Mr. Lehrenkrauss was a member of Greenwood Lodge, F. A.

the Wyckoff Heights Hospital Board, the Brooklyn Germania, the Brooklyn Saengerbund, the Swaben Saengerbund, the Brooklyn Arion Society and the Garden City Country Club. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schermerhorn Street, near Court, where Mr. Lehenkrauss was confirmed, married, and was for many years librarian. SELDEN- Mr. Edgar, at his home in Bellmore, from heart trouble, June 21st.

He was a writer and composer of some renown, one of his latest works being a scenario, "'The Banks of the Wabash," which the Vitagraph Company purchased. Mr. Selden was a frequent visitor in Huntington, and interment took place in the Huntington Rural Cemetery, after funeral services in St. John's Episcopal Church in Huntington. The Social Round at Jackson Heights Miss Dorothy Meyers, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Henry S. Meyers of Flushing, was married Saturday afternoon, June 28th, to Mr. Paul S. Williams of 151 Central Park West, New York City.

The wedding took place at the residence of the bride's parents, which was very artistically decorated in daisies. This same idea was carried out in the gowns of the two attendants, who were dressed in green and yellow with daisy trimmings. The friends of Mrs. Williams, who in A cousin of must reach this office to receive attention. Mr.

Charles Anstett of Penryhn Court, will be delighted to know that Mr. and Mrs. Williams will occupy, in the fall, an apartment in Linden Court. Mr. and Mrs.

Tuohy Entertain Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Tuohy gave a dinner at the Community Club Saturday night in honor of their daughter, Miss Madeleine Tuohy, who just returned from Eden Hall, at Torredale, where she is a student. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs.

Joseph Tuohy, Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Henkel, Miss Madeleine Tuohy, Miss Helen Monteverde, of Jackson Heights, Miss Dorothy Clayton, of Kew Gardens, Miss Lois Humphrey, of Elmhurst, Miss Catherine Fish, of New York, Mr. William Ryan, of Flushing, Mr.

Thomas Lebnam, of Jackson Heights, Mr. Vincent Goodwin, Mr. Richard Goodwin and Mr. Robert Crane, of New York. After the dinner, the party attended the dance given by the Community Club.

Tea for College Women's Club Mrs. A. N. Ferris, President of the College Women's Club, and Dr. Margaret Reynolds, Vice-President, gave a mid-summer tea to the College Women's Club on Tuesday, July 1st from 3 to 5 P.

M. at Dr. Reynolds' home. Mrs. Mulock Returns Friends of Mrs.

William G. Mulock are delighted to hear that she is coming back to the Heights to occupy her apartment. She has been away for over a year due to the death of her husband. Mrs. Mulock is one of the popular young matrons of the Heights.

She is an enthusiastic golfer, and is the undefeated champion for the last five years of the Jackson Heights Golf Club, and is also the champion of the Belleclaire Golf and Country Club of Bayside. She is interested in a great many activities conducted on the Heights, and is a charter member of the Delphian Society. Among the Younger Set Mr. Dean Goodsell, who has been a student at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, is at home for the summer. Mr.

Goodsell distinguished himself by being an honor pupil throughout the school year. Miss Rosalie Alice Norman, who has been attending Miss Beard's School at Orange, N. has returned for the summer holidays. Mr. Dave Goodsell has returned from attending Peekskill Military Academy at Peekskill, N.

Y. Mr. Goodsell had the honor of making the varsity football and track teams and being elected captain of the tennis team.Miss, Majorie Rhinelander has left for Camp Barnard, Burlington, where she will remain two months with her former classmates of Barnard College, New York City, Miss Helen D. Monteverde, who has been attending Academy of the Sacret Heart, is spending the vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.

R. F. Henkel, and has as her guest Miss Carmella Zareck of Brooklyn. Mr. Bruce Chapman has returned from Brown University for the summer months.

Mr. Elisha Canning, who has been attending Harvard University, is with his sister Miss Hazel Canning, for the summer. Miss Louise Kesler, who graduated several weeks ago from Drew Seminary, has returned from a trip to Saratoga Springs, N. Y. By the Way Mr.

and Mrs. Francis R. Gilbert and their young son, will leave on July 4th for three weeks' motor trip to Lake George, Mr. Gilbert's father and brother Messrs. M.

N. and R. N. Gilbert joining them. Mrs.

F. E. Burgess and her three children sailed recently for Europe. Mrs. Annie E.

Willcox who spent the winter in the south, sailed from New Orleans on June 26th..
