David E. Goodnow. of Miss Beryl Curtis, a Dansant. At the the dansant given by Mrs. N.

Williard Curtis at her home, 151 Arlington Avenue, to introduce Miss Beryl Curtis, the honor guests were Miss Alice Rorick of Toledo, Ohio, and Miss Dorothy Dickason of Chicago. Mrs. Curtis was gowned in gray chiffon trimmed with silver and rose and the gown was of white taffeta. The color scheme was pink, and green foliage formed a background for the receiving party, all of whom carried shower bouquets of roses. The flowers were banked on either side of the room.

Lehrenkrauss of 299 Sterling Place gave a reception at her home on Saturday of last week to introduce her daughter, Miss Mildred Lehrenkrauss. The bouquets and baskets received by the were SO many and so elaborate that the drawing-rooms needed no other decorations. Mrs. Lehrenkrauss wore a gown of robin's egg blue charmeuse and her daughter wore pale pink charmeuse trimmed with chiffon and gold lace. They were assisted in receiving by Miss Isabel Elliott, Mrs.

Harry B. Otersen, Miss Dorothy Bensinger and Miss Natalie Force: After the reception a dinner and dance was given for the receiving party and Mr. Robert Altshuler, Mr. Harry B. Otersen, Mr.

Clarence Yerken, Mr. Lloyd Souville and Mr. Sylvester W. Brierton, Jr. An Auction Bridge held at the Brooklyn Woman's Club.

The auction bridge given at the Brooklyn Woman's Club, 114 Pierrepont Street, this Friday afternoon by Mrs. James Lancaster Morgan and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. John Hill Morgan, was one of the first very large card parties held thus far this season which has been more given up to introducing than anything else. A Christmas Week Dance. The dance which was to have been given by Mrs. R. Frederic Foster of 532 Monroe Street last winter following the of her daughter, Miss Fourchette M. Foster, but which was postponed on account of illness, has once more been entered on the social calendar.

The date is Monday, the twenty-ninth. It is to be a house dance. Miss Foster was a member of the class of '12, Packer Collegiate Institute. Mrs. Bowers Gives Two Dances.

As the dance which Mrs. Henry Bowers and Miss Janet Bowers gave at their home, 57 Montgomery Place, on Thursday evening in honor of Miss Gladys O'Brien, brought together a group of young people who know one another very well, it was an especially delightful affair, going with all the gaiety characteristic of an entertainment which is given for a group of people who have much in common. Wiman Archer, has chosen her attendants. Miss Edna M. Ametrano, a sister of the bride-to-be, will act as the maid of honor and those chosen as bridesmaids are Miss Jeannette E. Ametrano, another sister, and Miss Elizabeth E. Avis.

Lillian F. Crichton, a little niece of Miss Ametrano from Wilmington, will be the flower girl. Mr. Archer has selected his brother, Mr. Edward J.

Archer, for his best man and as ushers Mr. James Sheriff, Mr. Henry Murphy, Mr. Alexis T. Darling, the of Miss Avis, and Mr.

Lester Ten Eyck. Miss Ametrano is a daughter of Mr. Emanuel J. Ametrano and the ceremony is to take place at her home, 312 Park Place. It is to be followed by a large reception at the Chateau du Parc.

Mr. Archer is the son of Mrs. Jacob W. Archer of 103 Bainbridge Street. The Kissam-Howe Wedding.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Flatbush, decorated with white chrysanthemums and palms, was the scene on Tuesday evening of the marriage of Miss Mary Pullen Kissam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus E. Kissam, to Mr.

George Howe, the Rev. Dr. Townend Glover Jackson, rector of the church, officiating. Miss Bertha Bacon of Park Hill, Yonkers, was the maid of honor and only attendant of the bride. She wore a gown of tango crepe chiffon over white chiffon, trimmed with shadow lace, sable fur and pearl ornaments, and carried an arm bouquet of white chrysanthemums tied with yellow tulle.

The bride was attractively attired in a draped gown of white crepe meteor, made with a court train and trimmed with rose point lace, which was an heirloom. Her veil of Brussels lace was becomingly arranged in a pointed cap effect about her face and was ornamented with orange blossoms. It fell gracefully to the end of the court train. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses and lilies-of-the-valley. The best man was the groom's brother, Mr.

Thomas Howe of White Plains, and the ushers were Mr. Edwin J. Roberts of Flatbush, Mr. James Bailey of Somers, N.Y., and Mr. Henry M.

Stevenson and Mr. Edward M. Wheeler, both of Manhattan. A small reception for relatives followed the ceremony at 486 Westminster Road. Mr.

and Mrs. George Howe will make their home in North Salem, Westchester County, N.Y,.
