Mr. Griswold was president of the Griswoldville Manufacturing Company, of Connecticut, with offices at 51 'Leonard-. Street, New York, lie lived for many years at 21 Jefferson Avenue, and was a prominent member of the Central Congrega tional Church. He is survived by a wife and a son, Mr. Frank D.

A MONG those who qualified in the putting tournament held on the links at Poland, last week were Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Everit and Mrs. Henry Coffin.

Both Mrs. Coffin and Mrs. Everit survived the first round. On the houseboat owned Jointly by the Maxwells, Adams and Gibbs at the Thousand Islands are at present Mr. and Mrs.

Mr. and Mrs. John Mason Blake and Miss Blake, of 396 Grand Avenue, are touring through New York State. They will visit Elmira, Watkins Glen, Buffalo, Niagara and Cayuga Lake. On their return they will spend the rest of the season at the Manor Hotel, Shippenj Conn.

Mr. and Mrs. Beverly Sedgwick King (Elsie Blake) are at their new home in White Plains, N.Y. Mr. and Mrs.

M. Luther Bowden, of 259 Hancock Street, will spend August at Greylock Hall, Bayswater, L.I. Miss Adele van Brunt Bull, who is spending the season at Karlsruhe, the country home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Melville Bull, was among those who assisted at the lawn fete at Newport on Wednesday.
