Mr, Barnaby, who made his home at the Crescent Athletic Club, was a bond broker of 67 Exchange Place, Man-. hattan. He was an authority on railway transportation on which he had written extensively. Bennett Mrs. Eleanor Harper, 156 St.

John's Place. Mrs. Bennett, who was the widow of the late Michael Bennett, was a very well-known resident of the Park Slope. She is survived. by two sons and two daughters.

Russell Miss Martha Norwalk, August twenty-fifth. Miss Russell was the daughter of the late Captain Samuel P. Russell, and sister of Colonel George D. Russell, all formerly of Brooklyn. Scoville Mrs.

Harriet Beecher, Cornwall, August thirtieth. Mrs. Scoville was born in Indianapolis in 1837 and was the fourth child of the Rev. Dr. and Mrs.

Henry Ward Beecher. Her husband, who died some years ago, was the Rev. Samuel Scoville, for a long time the assistant of Beecher at Plymouth Church. Van Wye Miss Katherine Ladd, Quogue, L.L, September fourth. Miss Van Wyck was the daughter of Mr.
