"Closed Doors" is a strong drama of the present time, its locale being a New England village. Ideas and ideals clash in it, making for strong dramatic situations. Young love, idealistic and intense, comes in conflict with the rigid prejudice of a small community But the play is not all emotion and deep pathos there is an abundance of humor in it also. 1XI7DI2 A BROOKLYN WLKDA MATS.

ALBEE THEATRE-The E. F. Albee Theatre will present another outstanding comedy bill this coming week, with four celebrated headliners and one of Broadway's best liked comediennes acting as Mistress of Ceremonies. The principal attractions will be Florence Moore, Grant Mitchell, Will Oakland and "The Great" Nicola. Miss Moore, witty ad lib comedienne, will act as Mistress of Ceremonies over the entire program, besides doing her own song recital.

Miss Moore has new songs by Neville Fleeson, and her accom- panist will be none other, than Lieut. Gitz- Rice, the Canadian soldier-composer, who wrote "Dear Old Pal -of Mine." Gitz Rice will also appear in his own "spot" his own act, singing his own songs as he sits at the keyboard. Grant Mitchell, the legitimate star will appear in a one-act comedy of every day life by Mark 3 wan and Maurice Freeman, entitled "Three Flights Up," ably supported by Dorothy Dudgen, Helen Murdock and William E. Barry. Will Oakland is the singing idol of the radio, i His fame on the air is prodigious.

"The Great" Nicola, the magician, will do his best stuff in the course of a half 'hour of mystery. He deals in fortissimo stunts that mystify and baffle on a big scale. Wtih a crack company, a mommoth production, and a routine that moves' with amazing speed, he is easily the best entertainer in the art of stage deception that the Albee has ever booked. Corinne Tilton, a comedienne of distinction, in "A Cycle of Original Song Studies" Arthur and ton Havel, featuring Helen Lockhart, in "Oh, Uncle with, Dolores Griffin and Charles Randolph the Four Flashes, "A Dance Aesop's Fables, "Topics of the Day" and Pathe News Pictures will complete highly ludicrous program. John Gilbert, the famous doughboy of "The Big Parade," again proves in this that he isn't a one-role actor. His greatest success was as the American soldier, and now he turned about and scores another just as great as a German one, in a story by Suderman.
