The "Congress" was under the presidency of Sing Lu (Jennie Trepel), who, wearing a gorgeous Chinese costume, announced the various numbers. The delegates at the congress were Santuzza (Amelia Krauss), Musette (Grace Farrar), Jul' tte (Mary Aitken), Carmen (Juanita King), Frasquita (Dorothy Timpany) and Mercedes (Marjorie Powers), all of whom charmed their audience with their selections.

Sverre Rasmussen was seen as a Citizen of Norway; Grace Farrar was Miss Liberty; Mary Aitken, a Daughter of the Sunny South; Marjorie Powers, Minnehaha; Dorothy Timpany, Lady Roccoco; Florence Lef-fert, Lady Harriet; Gertrude Gunston, Nancy; Sverre Rasmussen, Lionel; and August Werner, Plunket, sang "Good Night" from "Martha" (Flotow). An interesting feature of the intermission was the graceful dancing of Miss Beatrice Wanger of the Noyes Group, who interpreted selections from Schubert and Chopin. Mr. Edward Falck directed and accompanied skilfully, his piano work being a firte feature of the program..
